Alex- This is the report I provided to Pergolux about the storm damage.
When exactly did the incident occur (date and approximate time)? July 11, 2026 at 2:30-3:00pm Eastern
What were the weather conditions at the time? Warm/humid conditions, which quickly deteriorated as an intense thunderstorm impacted the area. It was reported that 4 microbursts occurred during the period, causing significant damage to trees, structures, etc.
Were the pergola’s louvers open or closed? We opened the louvers as the storm approached.
What were the foundation dimensions? I provided Pergolux’s foundation/footings guidance to the company that installed the patio. As I understand it, they poured concrete foundations under the pavers consistent with the guidance.
How was the pergola anchored? The crew that installed the Pergolux were provided with Pergolux’s guidance to use M8 or M10 anchor bolts. As I understand it, that is what they used.
