From the very first time we used the pergola screens, the 16 ft. Screens were extremely difficult to lower completely to the ground as they would immediately retract to the second lowest position. When we finally got them down, we could not raise them up without manual release of the corner mechanisms that keep them down. When we lowered them again the problem repeated—they will not go into the lowest position and stay down. In short, there needs to be an adjustment to the screens to allow them to raise and lower to the lowest position as they were designed to do. Given the immediate occurrence of this issue we can only conclude that it is an installation problem. Please send someone to fix it.
