I spoke to Dimitri the day after my install. I also had texted with the install techs. Dimitri asked me to put a ticket in with Pergolux support. I called back to get your team an update and for help with Pergolux. Dimitri seemed to think I may have a bad control box when I called initially and suggested I reach out to Pergolux.
The team installed my pergola arriving in the afternoon and leaving evening. The next day I used the remote for the first time. The louvers open and close. The RGB Lights do not work correctly. They turned on as soon as I plugged in but stay grass color green. The remote does not brighten or dim the lights. You can not change to different colors. The remote does not turn them off. They stay on. I unplugged the pergola. I left it unplugged over night. I plugged it in and the lights turned on bright green as soon as they plug in.
I downloaded the phone app. The app will not turn the lights off. If I put on 0% they are bight green. With the phone app, 100% brightness is bright white. There are not other colors. I think Red and Blue are not working. Green is on 100% of the time even when I turn off the lights with the app - they don't turn off. I have to unplug the pergola to turn off lights. When I plug in the pergola they are bright green again.
I did put a ticket in with Pergolux as Dimitri instructed. They requested a photo of the box (I sent control panel box), I sent them my remote, I also sent them a video doing what I described above. They also wanted me to show the lights on the control panel box. I can not get access to the control panel box. I had hired Elite to help with all of that and I tried but I could not get to it and am not technical enough to. I hurt my hand trying to move the panel.
I am waiting for an update from Pergolux. I may need your help. I don't know if it the control panel or RGB light strips or both. But I think since it is always on and off equals 100% brightness and green, there is something wrong with the control box.
